This level consists of std 7 and std 8. Here we ensure that the learner’s potential has been exploited fully through guiding and directing the learner to the pathways and tracks that will be highly needed in senior school. We continue sharpening the skills from middle-upper with improved activities. We apply Vygotsky’s social-cultural development theory whereby the learners interact with the teachers, peers, materials, and atmosphere embedded in the context. We ensure learners are equipped with skills to enable them to identify their needs and potential to participate in the world.  Diversity, empowerment, and engagement are emphasized at this level for learners to be able to address the needs in society. The upper primary is made of Science, Kiswahili, Mathematics, English, Social studies, and Religious education.
